But here’s the kicker: they actually work! As long as you say it, believe it, to receive it. When you consistently repeat affirmations, you start to shift your mindset. Your brain begins to believe these positive statements, and this belief influences your actions and decisions. It’s like planting seeds of positivity in your mind and watching them grow into a beautiful garden of confidence and clarity.
My Personal Affirmation Practice: How I Got Started
I reached the lowest point in my life, truly on my knees, due to years of abuse. Guided by God and Spirit Guides, I discovered my life purpose, which set me on a spiritual journey. Initially, when I encountered affirmations and meditation, I was doubtful. I wondered, “How can a few positive words make any difference?” Nonetheless, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did! Had I not followed my divine guidance, I wouldn't be here now writing this blog.
I began with a simple affirmation: “I Love You.” Each morning, I would stand in front of the mirror, look into my eyes, and say it aloud. It felt awkward at first, but gradually it became a powerful ritual. Starting with self-love is essential on your healing journey. I started noticing subtle improvements in my confidence and self-esteem. I felt more motivated, more focused, and—dare I say it—more at ease with myself.
I incorporated meditation alongside affirmations because connecting with your God, Higher Self, and Spirit Guides is like activating your inner GPS with divine coordinates—it provides direction, clarity, and deep peace, especially when the outside world seems chaotic.

Incorporating affirmations into my daily routine was one strategy that helped me stay focused. I would recite them while brushing my teeth, driving, or even grocery shopping. The more I included them in my day, the more natural they became.

For instance, I previously grappled with self-doubt because of past trauma. However, by regularly affirming, “I am worthy of love, I am worthy, and deserving of success,” I began to take more proactive steps in shaping my life to align with my purpose. Now, I offer Spiritual Guidance, conduct Readings, and have over 9,000 followers on TikTok—and guess what? I can achieve it! Affirmations greatly assist in managing my triggers, showcasing the effectiveness of affirmations in practice.
